The key to successful representation in court is to properly evaluate the case, both facts and law, and then pick a strategy that will work for the particular dispute.  There are fundamental requirements in any case, however. All cases must be viewed from the trial perspective.  Before we draft the pleadings early on in the case, we look at jury instructions.  Jury instructions will dictate what you must prove to prevail, and in case of defense, what the adversary will have to show to prevail.  There can be no successful representation without assuming that the case will go to trial.  This also requires specific knowledge of litigation practice and experience of having tried many cases.  We do not shy away from going to trial, if necessary. Most other attorneys do everything to avoid it. In the right case, we welcome it.
